Our trade-in program offer customers peace of mind when it comes to their data security. Data is professionally cleared
and inspected in multiple stages of the processing to ensure all data is removed. However, it is highly recommended
that you remove your personal data prior to trade-in.
We go through a thorough process of evaluation and clearing all data, then we resell your product, typically through
a retail marketplace to someone who wants a used device. Our objective is first and foremost to facilitate reuse,
and if there is no need, we will recycle the products responsibly through an eSteward member organization that promises
zero landfill, and zero export for recycling.
Yes you can. Once you've completed the first item, search for and add more items until you are done.
If your cell phone is from Sprint, Verizon, Nextel, U.S. Cellular, or any other CDMA technology carrier that does
NOT use a SIM card, then yes, you need to pay down your account balance to $0 and have the carrier release the phone
from your account. You can often do this through the customer service portal online, or in some cases you will need to
call their customer care number. If you do not get the phone released from the account it will have very low value as
it can't be reactivated for reuse on the network.
